Atlas City Project

Humanities consciousness is calling out to us. Plan it, build it, live it!
The Atlas City Project is a planned community living in a transitonal RBSE (Resource Based System Economy) to be built in America as a transitional conception of the Venus Project. Project members are currently active working on the manual that will be implemented to make Atlas City a reality. This project invites open source community volunteer involvement, if you are inspired you can learn about our mission and get involved to support this project. All planning will be contained in the manual which will be completed before attempting to implement it. Expertise from all required disciplines will be required to ensure we have a sound implementation plan is represented in the ACP manual. We do need your help, please get involved today!
What Makes A Resource Based System Economy Better
The monetary system is antiquated, for humanity to progress, it must take the next progressive step. Can you imagine a world with no house payments or bills, where you have excellent health care for all your aging needs, where you enjoy excellent healthy food, nice clothes and you do not need to worry about losing your job? Most people cannot imagine this kind of world, which is foreign to the monetary system. The monetary system places more value on money than on you. It is time for humanity to evolve to our next caring and compassionate state of being, where peoples needs come first, before money, and everyone contributes to a society that provides for the temporal needs of each other. Can you imagine how much better peoples needs can be met when our work efforts are focused on providing for them, and not insurance, banking, loans, and collections. By putting that labor into providing real needs for humanity, we will end homelessness and starvation and improve the human condition. Humanity will finally be free to enjoy their existence using our intelligence to improve our society.
Leading The Way

The resource based system economy may be hard for the rich to embrace, after all, they have never lacked for the things most people suffer without. Many feel America will be the last place that will embrace a resource based system economy, however that would be a mistake. Just as globalization forced companies to consolidate and outsource, so does the resource based system economy provide a competitive advantage for businesses that support the resource based cities. Atlas City, simply put, can provide lower cost goods and services for American businesses, revitalizing America, while promoting a better way of life for the inhabitants of Atlas City. they could ignore it, but that would be like ignoring globalization.
What Will Atlas City Accomplish
Atlas City is pioneering the transition into the RBE, impementing technology that will reduce human labor while improving the human condition. Volunteers will show the world that money is no longer required to motivate mankind to do the right thing for each other and the world.
Atlas City represents the future of humanity. The reality is, we do not have all the technology to fully automate work and labor today, however, we are getting closer to that everyday. Atlas City will minimize human labor using technology to lead the way in a higher standard of living for humanity. Inhabitants will work hard, but work less hours than their monetary system counter parts. Atlas City:
- is a model that will be replicated
- raises the quality of life for its inhabitants
- lowers the cost of goods and services in the monetary system until it prevails
- represents humanities evolutionary progression to a more intelligent way of life for everyone
- maximizes humanities pursuit of happiness
- is to be as self sufficient as possible, including use of green energy resources
- encourages non-materialism and promotes environmentally friendly solutions
- reduces crime in a world where needs are met and social concern prevails
- provides criminally sick minded people true reformation in care centers that retrain their thinking and behavior
- encourages a lifetime of learning and self improvement with free education
Atlas City Life
Atlas City provides housing, food, health care, education, clothing, entertainment, transportation and a higher quality of life for everyone. In short, it is a well planned, self sufficient, entertaining place to live. Food will be in the form of restaurants and in home cooking if desired. Travel will be encouraged, however transportation is provided. Besides a well run city transportation system, a fleet of environmentally friendly vehicles are available for off city travel. Vacations will be a regular event for city residents. Visitors will be welcome and will purchase daily all inclusive passes that cover the expense for their accommodations, food and entertainment. It will be a fun place to visit and even funner place to live as the arts will be a prevalent aspect of life for the residents.
Who Will Live In Atlas City
Our city is for people who desire a higher consciousness, more free time, appreciate the use of technology to provide higher productivity with fewer resources. Despite it's rejection by people who embrace the monetary system, there is no shortage of individuals who are attracted to the resource based society. They tend to be individuals who:
- care about humanity and the needs of society
- understand that resources require careful management
- desire a lifetime of learning and production using advanced technologies
- no longer wish to worry about the lack of health care, education, bills, and concern about survival.
- choose to contribute their skills to help technology evolve in progressive evolution towards a society where humans enjoy more free time, pleasure and compassion while giving their knowledge and skills for their progressive way of life.
- value the pursuit of art, skills, talents in a society that encourages self improvement

Atlas City is a fresh start for society. One of our goals is to find ways to fund this city to get it started. As backwards as that is, we do not live in the resource based society yet. All funds raised are required to be fully utilized to build the city and since there are no paid positions in Atlas Initiative Group or Atlas City, we have no other motivations. Any other motivation by a board member is a 'conflict of interest' and will be grounds for dismissal, according to our obligations of governance. Atlas Initiative Group:
- is focused on building and planning for Atlas City, not propaganda, power or demonstrations
- adheres to the laws of the land in the country it is built
- is a pioneering effort to apply and expand technology to reduce human labor like never before
- requires a well designed plan, including human resources required to be successful
- is focused on producing goods and services of value to humanity and provides an excess that will be sold or traded for other resources the city requires until our world embraces the resource based system
- applies intelligence in making major decisions which will be decided by a democratic governing body of our most intelligent minds as measured in IQ, compassion, social awareness and emotional genius and these individuals who score highest will be encouraged to be part of that governing body where no one voice controls but our best collective intelligence prevails
- is a group of individuals and businesses which thoughtfully embrace the resource based society will prevail with high standard of living and a lower cost of services and goods from Atlas City
- desires a smooth transition, to maximize human well being, both in and out of this transition city, and will seek options that responsibly and ethically lead the way to transition society for a better tomorrow

There are four types of assistance we are prepared to accept:
- individuals should join with a free membership and begin your progressive thinking to be part of Atlas City and a resource based system economy
- if you can donate, please do so, if you have only time to give we do have work to be done that requires everyone's cooperative contribution
- if you are a government, Nation, State, County or City we are in need of 2,000 acres tax free, we will of course not rely on bureaucracy but we ask anyway, just in case
- if you are a business, you should fill out our business inquiry form and see what Atlas City can do for you and how we can form an alliance
All funds are managed by Atlas Initiative Board who is a group dedicated to the cause, with all volunteer (no paid positions) and all funds are 100% dedicated to the building and running of Atlas City. Donations are fully transparent unless your donation requires anonymity.

Our NPO by law requires that all donations be used for funding the city and
requires unanimous consent of the board to ensure donations are used for that intent.
