This could be the Operating System installed on the main frame computer in the central hub of Atlas when it makes it through to completion.
Very interesting stuff coming down the pike

Hey,
A friend asked me to read the article and i noticed an error in the css for the site.
Here is what my browser(ie8) sees
[img]<a%20href="http://gs178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/?
action=view¤t=css_error_post.png"%20target="_blank"><img%
20src="http://gi178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/
css_error_post.png"%20border="0"%20alt="Photobucket"></a>[/img]
Playing with an active Css Editor i changed a few values to correct the problem
#content{
padding-bottom:10px;
padding-left:0px;
padding-right-:0px;
background:url(images/bg_top1.gif) repeat-x left top;
padding-top:0px;
}
where the underlined area is the changed values.
this will result in this
[img]<a%20href="http://gs178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/?
action=view¤t=css_nopadding_post.png"%20target="_blank"><img%
20src="http://gi178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/
css_nopadding_post.png"%20border="0"%20alt="Photobucket"></a>[/img]
if this value is changed
#content{
padding-bottom:10px;
padding-left:10px;
padding-right-:10px;
background:url(images/bg_top1.gif) repeat-x left top;
padding-top:5px;
}
you get this
[img]<a%20href="http://gs178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/?
action=view¤t=css_paddingtop_post.png"%20target="_blank"><img%
20src="http://gi178.photobucket.com/groups/w270/N53FIPVOFX/
css_paddingtop_post.png"%20border="0"%20alt="Photobucket"></a>[/img]
just a suggestion
Cheers
MC

I've been trying to get him to look over the code talk for weeks, but it's difficult due to laziness. He is very knowledgeable on server security, coding and many other technical aspects.
Chris, we are going to watch those Zeitgeist movies if I have to tie you up and pry your eyes open.

I've noticed that a great many coders are lazy. At least, as far as most I've known and I've known quite a few. It holds many of them back from their full potential, which is ironically sad.
I've seen this manifested in quite a few ways.
These ways however can be broken down into two core conditions:
Superiority Complex
Inferiority Complex
Of course, these are just lazy excuses of ego, regardless.
For the Inferiority Complex -- impatience and low self esteem makes the coder unable to see how gifted they really are. They whip out masterpiece applications in no time flat and then say "i'm really not all that good at programming". When you see what they can do and you tell them "bullshit, you're awesome! you could be making the mad loot with this talent!" they respond with "i think you're over exaggerating just a bit there".
For the Superiority Complex -- these coders see anyone who can not code as being idiots. They see their fellow coders as competition threats so when it comes to getting things done, they can seldom agree on anything. They all think their way is right and everyone else's way is wrong -- not realizing that all of their ideas are valid and they just need to consolidate them into one finely tuned idea. The aspect of "i have to be the best and get all the credit" puts them indefinitely at odds with each other.
I've seen full scale flame wars in forums over what a standard api for this or that should be and how the engine for it should be built. A bunch of grown intellectuals battling worse than a room full of toddlers.

I've been trying to get him to look over the code talk for weeks, but it's difficult due to laziness.
Lets see, he is implementing more tools, a whole operating system and has a full time job and you are
bitching about how many pixels of something that is actually part of the site, that is how the template was
developed, its not an error, we have already discussed this. If you even look at the menu, it lines up with
how we got it set up.
If you don't like it, apply yourself to the software development team, and next time how about you look over
all the tools we are implementing and see if it really matters.
to McChris, post RBEF related issues on the RBEF site, I'm not the messenger for everything buddy. Something you could also to do help is actually properly format it, its rather easy, also we don't use html in our forums for security issues, and neither does Atlas.

Seems like there was an error in Atlas that cut off my text..
to McChris, post RBEF related issues on the RBEF site,
I'm not the messenger for everything buddy and Venux does not have
time to view many forums besides our own.Something you could also

by the way, and I quote:
This is not the problem, this is intended design
(regarding menu error)
hmm, lazy coders programming things that most of us can't. what makes him lazy?

I asked him to put it here since he wasn't registered with RBEF and you're on here
as much as any of us Josh. If it's a template, fine. Just trying to help. Calm down.

how were you trying to help when you were saying him and many others are "lazy" coders?
